In 2024, at the age of 30, I felt a strong motivation to begin my Qur’an journey again. After being away from learning for so long, I made the decision to start from the very beginning. With Madrasatul Bayyan, I began with the Arabic alphabet, then progressed to learning how to connect letters and form words and sentences. From there, I began learning tajweed and how to apply its rules to my Qur’an recitation. Today, Alhamdulillah, I am able to read and write ayahs from the Qur’an—something that once felt so far from where I was starting.

I truly credit so much of my progress to Madrasatul Bayyan and their patient, encouraging, and supportive approach to teaching. Returning to Qur’an as an adult can feel intimidating, especially when you feel like you are starting over, but I have always felt supported throughout the process and encouraged to keep progressing at every stage.
